The location was ideal, staff was helpful. Many thanks to concierge! Just walking distance from hot tin roof, where you can have lunch.
There was no lock. Average room.

The relaxed inviroment and friendly staff
-
Absolute perfect location to experience all of Key West! Big bonus having the option to enjoy the beach/ocean and the pool. Will stay here again.
-
The rooms were lovely; with large beds and relaxing decor. Breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the bay was great and the bar staff were so friendly and helpful

This was my first stay at the Pier House. I must say that this was one of the most pleasant trips that I have made to Key West. I found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and will be staying at the Pier House again.
Pillows were a bit hard.

Location perfect by the beach and on the bottom of Duval street
-
i liked the view from my room out over the gulf of Mexico, the short walk to Duval St and most other scenic areas.

The friendly staff. from the time we checked in until we checked out we enjoyed the hospitality and atmosphere that was created by everyone that we encountered. The food and drinks were wonderful also. I would like to visit again and stay in the same harbor view room that we enjoyed so much. Relaxing on the balcony watching the beautiful yachts and sailboats was awesome.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay. We did stay during the cold snap during the first of Feb. so did not get much use of the pool or beach. The spa rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. We will return hopefully with warmer weather.
Rust coming from ice machine and ants around tile near window. Reported to main desk and it was taken care of.

The location was perfect on Key West. Close to everything. Once we were upgraded to a less noisy room, I thought the facilities were wonderful. Smaller room was not good value for the price. Guess it all evened out.
First room was right near the truck delivery area and we were bombarded by diesel smalls, truck engines, back-up beeping, air brakes, etc. for about 3 1/2 hours one morning.

Did not need a car close to everything and a lovely holiday experieence

The hotel has the single best location in Key West. And although it is an older hotel, it is impeccably maintained and much more interesting than the cookie-cutter international hotels nearby.
We had no complaints whatsoever about the Pier House. In fact, we are planning to return in just a couple of months. It was a great experience.
-
An oasis of tranquility close to a very noisy Main Street (Duval Str). The hotel gardens are amazing!! The small pretty private beach of this hotel in busy Key West added to our pleasure. Parking is free and is on the hotel grounds!
-
Nice oasis from craziness of Key West. Close enough to partake... Easy when need to get away from it. Food was delicious.
-
We were upgraded to a sea view room with large balcony.
Our queen mattresses were on wooden platform beds....no box springs.
